Sharing Our BEV Journey at Melbourne EV Meetup

On July 3, Bigger Energizer joined the Melbourne EV Meetup for an evening of connection, inspiration, and conversation. Our co-founder Zoe had the pleasure of sharing insights into our work developing electric garbage trucks purpose-built for Australian conditions—designed to meet the real operational needs of local councils and waste operators.

The event brought together a diverse group of EV enthusiasts, industry professionals, and innovators across the electrification ecosystem. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, hear fresh perspectives, and see just how quickly this space is evolving.

As an EV owner and advocate, Zoe reflected on how events like this don’t just give us a chance to speak—but also to listen and learn from others driving change in the transport and energy sectors.

A big thank you to Ross De Rango and Edward Lynch-Bell for organising such a vibrant gathering, and to Richard Zeeand the team at Solarh2e for hosting us at the Centre for Earth Resources and New Energy (CERNE). We’re also grateful to AGL for sponsoring the event and providing the catering.

If we didn’t get a chance to chat during the event—or if you'd like to learn more about our work—feel free to reach out or follow the Bigger Energizer page for updates.

We’re already looking forward to the next EV Meetup and continuing to connect with those passionate about building a zero-emission future.
